MWCNTs Layers Calculation - Here comes an example from our product of US 4315:

Because the multi-walled carbon nanotube has the outer diameter of 50-80nm, inner diameter of 5-15nm, therefore the thickness of the wall is about 45-65nm. And because the distance between each wall is about 0.34nm, therefore the number of layers can be calculated between 45/0.34=132 to 65/0.34=191. That is, MWCT US4315 is about  132-191 layers.

Research Grade Large Inner Diameter Thin-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWNTs, MWCNTs) Description
This product is manufactured by alcohol pyrolysis using ferrocene as catalyst in floating reactor.  The inner diameter is more than 20 nm mostly, and the CNTs have a thin wall mostly.  Because it is produced in floating reactor, the product has a wide range outside diameter distribution.
